1. Provisional bookings are accepted by email, and are held for a maximum of 5 days until a completed Booking Form and the relevant deposit is received.
2. A booking is deemed confirmed once a Booking Form, together with £50 per week non-refundable deposit has been received from you and confirmed by email/writing by us.
3. The balance is payable is 6 weeks prior to the start of your holiday and will be advised to you when we confirm the booking. If the balance is not received by the due date, you will be contacted and asked to send the payment immediately. If you do not respond within 4 days of us contacting you, the booking will be deemed cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
4. Payments: You can make a bank transfer: (please ask) or cheques should be made payable to Miss R Smith and posted to The Shire, 32 St Albans Road Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2QY.
5. The security deposit will be returned to you within 1 week of the end of your stay provided no breakages/damage have occurred and the property has been left clean and tidy. If any breakages or damage have occurred, or if the property is not left in the condition it was found and requires additional cleaning, or if we consider excess electricity/gas has been used, costs incurred will be deducted from the security deposit and the balance of your £50 will be returned to you. You must give details on the Booking Form as to where this Security Deposit should be returned i.e bank account or cheque.
6. In the event of you cancelling your stay, the deposit, and when paid the balance, are non-refundable unless we are able to re-let The Shire for the period of cancellation. Guests are therefore recommended to take out cancellation insurance.

CANCELLATION BY US
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday and in this event we will return the money you have paid or will offer you an alternative holiday of comparable standard, subject to availability. We do not pay compensation.
7. Guests can arrive at The Shire after 3.00pm on the day of arrival and are requested to vacate the property by 10.00am on the day of departure.
8. Upon arrival Guests must report to Kelling Heath Holiday Park Reception with their Kelling Heath Key Release Form to obtain the keys to The Shire, Keys will not be released without the Key Release Form.
9. The maximum number of guests to reside in The Shire must not exceed 6 at any time.
10. Guests under the age of 21 are not permitted to occupy The Shire unless a parent/guardian is staying.
11. Whilst a Guest on Kelling Heath Holiday Park you must comply with the Park’s Rules, a copy of which
Is available in the Guest Information folder in The Shire.
12. Whilst a Guest staying in The Shire we would ask you to comply with the rules relating specifically
to our holiday home, a copy of which available in the Guest Information folder in The Shire.
13. All persons in your party agree to be considerate tenants, to take good care of The Shire and to
leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. Although a final clean is included in your holiday fee, we reserve the right to use the money, or part of the money from your Security Deposit, depending on the costs involved, to cover the additional cleaning costs if you leave The Shire
in an unacceptable condition.
14. All persons in your party agree not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those in neighbouring holiday homes.
15. You shall report to Colin or Rachel without delay, any defects in The Shire as a holiday home or any breakdown/defects in the equipment or appliances therein, or within the plot, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
16. Our prices and terms and conditions are subject to change at any time.
17. All our accommodation is fully equipped for the maximum occupancy of that unit. (6)
18. Bedlinen and Towels (please provide own beach/pool towels) are all provided for the number of your party. We do not provide bed linen for cots.
19. Only those persons listed on the Booking Form are entitled to occupy the accommodation allocated. All children and babies must be included. Any additions must be notified to Us (Rachel & Colin) and added to your Booking Form. The total number in your party should not exceed the capacity of the accommodation listed. Anyone found to have more occupants than the number booked is liable to have their booking terminated with no refund.
20. If you receive visitors during your stay, who are not resident on the Park, they must report to Reception before proceeding to your accommodation. Visitors must not stay overnight in your accommodation. You will be responsible for the behaviour of your visitors whilst they are on the Park.
21. A maximum of 2 dogs allowed in our holiday homes. (Any dogs covered by the “Dangerous Dogs Act” must be muzzled at all times).
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times, apart from accommodation and fenced plot.
Dogs not allowed on the furniture, please bring suitable bedding for them.
